On May 30th, 2016 the post panamax bulk carrier Anastasia became the largest ship to be berthed at Lorient, showing a beam of 38m and a deadweight of 92,214. She was also carrying the biggest cargo ever discharged at Lorient with 62,916 tonnes.
Another post panamax bulker since broke the deadweight record with 93,379 t capacity for the Spring Glory in July 2017.
The deepest draft (12.6m) was reached last June, at the occasion of the call of the kamsarmax bulk carrier Panorama.
